The House
A quiet devotion to movement.
RIPA was born between the Pacific and the cloud forest — a Costa Rican house dedicated to a slower, more considered kind of activewear.
We design for the women who move daily — on the mat, on the reformer, along the coastline — and for the quiet hours in between. Every piece is shaped to honor the body it dresses: easy on the skin, exact in fit, beautiful when held in the hand.
We are a small atelier. Our patterns are cut in San José, sewn in modest runs by a team we know by name. We choose fabrics for how they feel after the hundredth wear, not the first — recycled fibers, Tencel, and Italian-milled jerseys that age gracefully.

Made in small batches.
Our collections are released in limited drops. Nothing is mass-produced; nothing is discounted to clear. When a piece sells out, it returns only if the fabric and the makers allow it. This is the rhythm of a house — not a factory.
Pura vida, refined.
Costa Rica is the spirit beneath every seam — its light, its stillness, its faith in a slower, kinder pace. RIPA is our way of dressing that philosophy in linen, in jersey, in considered silhouette.
